Dubai

It's my last night here in Dubai and I'm kinda sad to be leaving already.. I actually kind of like this place despite it being 42 degrees 24/7, will definitely return one day when I'm rich and have lots of money to blow on shopping and hotels LOL

I feel kinda weird posting a bikini photo up but w/e it shows how far I've come! I'm slowly becoming less self conscious about my body but I don't think I'd have the balls to go to the beach or anything yet.. one day!! I never even ended up going swimming though because it wasn't even 6am and the pool wasn't open jetlag pls

I FLEW A SIMULATOR A380!!!! Oh my goodness dream come true (almost)

The guy there was so nice, the normal price of the simulator was 450 AED ($167 AUD) and guess how much I paid?!?!? Nothing woooooo

He said it was because he liked my tattoo but then during the simulation I said 'wow this is so big compared to the plane I've flown before' and he goes 'yeah I bet you like big things' (he was black so)

I'm in Dubai?!

I haven't really posted anything about this anywhere so it's kind of a random surprise, but I'm on holiday! I wasn't supposed to go originally but since I'm dropping accounting at uni anyway I was like yolo fuck it may as well! When I start my cabin crew job I won't be able to travel unless it's for work, so this holiday will be the last one for a while :( We're mainly here for my dad, one of his relatives is getting married in Macedonia next week so we thought since we have to stop over in Dubai anyway we'd spend a few days here! Anyway I'm soooooo jetlagged right now, it's only 5pm but it's been 37 hours since I last slept so I think I'm going to take a nap after I make a quick update post on my trip so far!

It looks like Gina is coming with me but no she just came to say goodbye :(((((

It was my first time ever on an A380 and it was amazing!!! So quiet and smooth plus there was wifi, didn't even feel like we were in the air for most of the flight!

I normally like plane food because the little tray they give you is so cute and I love how you can try so many things... but this was on another level mmmm

It felt like I stepped into a sauna as soon as I got here LOL but you get used to it. After a few hours shopping I actually wanted to go back into the heat because Dubai mall was so cold.. Anyway we got to the hotel at like 6 in the morning so what better to do than take photos in the lobby while waiting for your suite right

After we checked in we pretty much just spent most of the day at Dubai mall. The shopping centre itself is fucking huge and boasts quite a lot of well known stores, so you could be there for hours and not get bored. They also had heaps of yummy restaurants and cafes inside but I was too full from breakfast to try many places :( I did get a free macaron though heheh the boy serving me just gave it to me it was cute senk u boy

matcha is lov

Had a delicious lunch infused with lots of matcha at ONE tea lounge & grill yesterday! I love all things matcha so I was really keen to try this place out, and it definitely did not disappoint. The whole experience from my matcha burger + matcha fries (I know right, even matcha fries what?!) to the customer service was great, can't wait to go back and try their ice cream baos mmmmmm

Ok so instead of going to uni early today to study for my test tomorrow I decided to spend my time doing better things like lining up for a bar of chocolate... and yes it was worth it

If you have the time and patience, you must try the create your own kit kat pop up happening at Westfield Sydney right now. Tbh I wasn't expecting much from it because it's just kit kat but omg this was some next level shit!!!

They even let you customise the box and everything it's so cute! I got dark chocolate with rose petals, almond brittle, and toasted coconut flakes 10/10 would get again if the line wasn't so long

This was a really random post like I don't even have anything else to say right now, I was just feeling pretty hungry so I thought I'd write about food

Omg I just remembered I only had one class today

and I was a few minutes late because of that kit kat

I fainted today???

So I was at the doctors getting vaccinated for 5 things in 2 separate injections at the same time (like a motherfuckin b0ss) and straight after my injections my body was like n o p e  g o o d b y e and I literally just lost all consciousness for a bit

It was so scary and fucked up holy shit I think the best way to describe it is if you closed your eyes to get ready for sleep and instead of taking like 10 minutes to start dreaming it's instant!! It felt I was out for a really long time, like soooo many thoughts and images went through my head like a super intense dream before I regained consciousness. But the weird thing was that when I asked the nurse she said it was only for a few seconds?!?!?! I just started crying when I woke up because the whole experience was too much for me and she even offered me some chocolate to make me feel better senk u kind lady

Anyway omg I have 3 more injections to go in the next six months and tbh I'm freaking out a little now HAHA I've never been scared of needles or anything, I think my body just went into shock because of how much I was taking in all at once?! Never doing that again p l s

city2surf

I did the city2surf this morning for the first time ever! I did not know what to expect at all and didn't train either, so I ended up walking the majority of the way.. Felt kinda bad for Mai because she's done the city2surf like 11 times and I feel like this was probably one of her her slowest times HAHA. It was pretty long and tiring but worth it in the end because there was a lot of food waiting at the finish line eheheh

I feel pretty proud of myself (even though I walked w/e) for finishing it and even though it was tiring and I had to wake up early I think I'm gonna do it again next year ^-^

last minute melbourne holiday

So it was like midnight on Thursday and I was sitting at bay vista with Gina when she suddenly said 'I miss Melbourne' ... literally 2 hours later we had all our luggage packed and we were already on our way to Melbourne by car heh heh

It took about 17 hours to get there because we were dead tired and had to nap, but also because this happened plsssssssss

Turned out our car was unregistered and we could only drive any further 'for registration purposes'. So we drove to this really small town in the middle of nowhere called Gundagai to get a pink slip before driving the rest of the way. Little did we know we'd get pulled over again on the way back and fined some more because the pink slip wasn't enough (the first cop lied to us) and our car was still unregistered o m g

Anyway! When we arrived in Melbourne we went straight to dinner because all we had to eat earlier that day were maccas burgers and toasted sandwiches.. We went to Jinda thai because I saw these delishus cakes on instagram delishus

They did not disappoint holy shit definitely going back

I had the worst headache after dinner so I waited in the car while Gina bought some neurofen for me. She has asthma and going to woolworths triggered a mini asthma attack and long story short we ended up driving to hospital for some ventolin because she forgot her puffer.. I was so scared for her I literally drove 100km an hour to get her to the hospital asap senk d lord we didn't get pulled over for that

After a very eventful first night in Melbourne we rested up and went to Top Paddock for some brunch. I got their famous hot cakes and w o w pls even though it was huge and the people next to us couldn't even eat half of theirs (little bitches) we still finished it because it was that good

All we pretty much did that day was shop around in the city and eat but it still made us super tired. We were pretty dead by night time but we still went out to Crown for long islands mmm

My friend was working and he made that giant long island for us hehe thank youuuuuu!

The next day we didn't have plans so we joined my friend for a barbecue at his friend's apartment in the city. The view and food were amazing, it was nice of them to invite us to enjoy it ^-^

Would never leave Melbourne if I lived here 

At night we decided to go to Crown again then clubbing since it was our last night there! It was such an unexpected but good night heheheheh senk u

I wore a cardigan and ugg boots to the casino because I was cold and then there was Gina who looked so good and much more appropriate HAHA whatever yolo (I changed shoes for clubbing though donut worry)

OMG THIS GUY HAHAHAHA I TOOK HIS PHONE AND CHANGED HIS WALLPAPER AND I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW HIM HHAAHAH I posted that photo on his facebook too heheheh

The next day my friend took me to this burger place near my hotel hands down I don't think I've ever enjoyed a beef burger that much it was so yummy!!! Or maybe it was just my hunger talking but still it was really good

After lunch it was time to drive back :(((((((( we were both sad to be leaving and wanted to stay another night but we couldn't because of uni :( WE SHOULD'VE STAYED THOUGH BECAUSE FUCK we ended up getting pulled over and having our number plates taken off our car because of the no rego problem... p l s

(The thing behind the car is our motel room fuck the police wouldn't let us go home so we had to stay the night in Gundagai again)

Anyway other than that it was a great holiday and I can't wait to go back!
