I don't hate mainstream music I mean there must be a reason it's called 'mainstream'.. because it is the type of music the media industry w/e believes a lot of people will enjoy listening to! there are some songs I don't like though that are mainstream because they're kind of stupid, like 'thrift shop' l o l I just think the words are dumb because what's wrong with spending $50 on a shirt right???..

first week of school

• first day was great, only had 2 classes
• second day was so crap
• that day I remembered how much I hate school
• friday was even worse except I got to go home at lunch which was great!!
• monday was shit
• tuesday was shit
• wednesday was alright 
• thursday was shit again bcs thursdays are the only days I have 4 whole periods
• but thursday after school was good!! I went shopping lololol
• today was ok except I was late oops

it's funny how you asked me of all people because I am soooOOoo done with school when it's only been one week and one day.... . ... ... but nevertheless here's some tips I think might help (assuming you're struggling with this hsc bullshit and workload etc)!!!

• ok first you have to realise hey I am in year 12 shit is srs now like stop fucking around and being like omg there's so much work no fucking shit there's so much work you are not in year 7 you are in year 12 helloooo if you're not prepared for it you are going to struggle for sure
• try to stay on top of things, manage your time well, and prioritise the things you have to do!!!!!! like for example if you have an extension english assignment due the next day don't go shopping in the city looking at nice watches..................... my bad
• find something you want to do to motivate you! some people are driven to work harder because they already know what they want to do in uni or when they graduate high school. if you have some sort of direction then you might find it easier to study and stuff ya know
• study
• but not too much especially if you don't usually study because you'll get really sick of it and never do it again
• make notes in class and look at them again when you get home so you don't forget shit
• if you need extra help or want to get ahead of everyone else or w/e get tutoring, trust me everyone gets tutoring in year 12 well at my school everyone does..... speaking of tutors anyone know any good math/chem/english tutors??! I need to join :-(
• oh and about tutoring if you think you're struggling bcs you don't understand since the class is moving so fast, it's probably bcs everyone does tutoring and has already learnt everything being taught in that lesson soooo
• ahh shit I'm supposed to be going to the gym but I am writing this dkjsdjfhkds

ps I don't really follow any of these tips which is probably the reason why I hate school and can't deal with it but w/e hope this helps!!

I went to state library on Sunday and I didn't realise until I got home that I left my charger for my laptop there.... so this whole week I've been without a laptop which was the worst, like you have no idea omg I didn't know what to do with myself so I stayed in bed and watched tv most of the time heh heh. anyways now that I have my computer back I can finally hand in my extension english assignment and write some long overdue blogposts (sorry!!!)

people in school are so competitive

it's seriously like every man for himself at my school now well at least for me LOL.. if I don't understand something in class and ask someone how she did it she'll be like 'I don't know how' and I'm just thinking 'but you just did the question'.... omg even in year 8 when nothing mattered people were still competitive!!!!! I remember during yearlies I asked to see this girl's notes because we had an exam after lunch and she wasn't using them, but she was like "no you should've made your own" ??!?!?!?!! I aced everything in year 8 though so it's ok I didn't need the notes anyway but still that is so rude like since when was school a competition...
