hong kong day 7

today we had breakfast in the hotel and went back to sleep again omg we keep doing this and it's making the days feel a lot shorter :( since we spent half the day in bed we just went shopping around our hotel area and in mong kok. I found this really cute dress at this fobby store called liz lisa but it's pretty much unnacceptable in aus to wear clothes like this so I just took a picture of it

I wanted to buy a sweater there but they didn't accept $1000 notes because apparently there are a lot of fakes circulating around egfgh 

after shopping for ages we went to eat at a cafe in mong kok which was pretty good except we ordered so much unhealthy food so now my sore throat feels worse

tried a 'club sandwich' for the first time yum

couldn't decide between the desserts so

bought a beanie with ears heheh can't wait to wear this in seoul

hong kong day 6

it's been 6 days already omg it does not feel like I'm on holiday anymore there's nothing left to do! actually there's this ocean park we haven't been to yet but I don't know if we're going or not because it's cold and I'm sick :-( anyway today we went to the tallest building in hong kong which was pretty cool since we got in for free heh. there was this sky100 thing on the 100th floor which cost like $168 HKD but if you just go to the ritz carlton hotel's bar on the 118th floor you don't have to pay to go up, just for drinks and food

before we went up we were hungry so we went to eat at this burger place omg I ordered a kids meal because I'm sick and can't eat much and they gave me this HAHA

I look like an idiot but it was so fucking cold at the outside bar and if we sat inside there'd be no city to look at so

hong kong day 5

today we had breakfast at our hotel then went back up to our room to sleep LOL...... we walked around too much these past few days so we just wanted the day to relax

got green tea ice cream again yum

got back to the hotel and the view was pretty nice

these posts are getting really lazy sorry I think I've been in hong kong for too long it's starting to feel like I'm at home?? also there isn't that much to do here except shopping and eating so everyday is pretty similar

hong kong day 4

we checked into a new hotel today and it's sooooo nice wow

I'm pretty keen for breakfast tomorrow because I went past the lunch buffet place and there was so much cake

hokkaido milk choux creme from tsim sha tsui, so goooododd

we finally visited the peak LOL the wait to get up there was over an hour and the wait to get back down was even longer eghggh it was so cold too

when we got there it was so foggy and shit looking

it got so much better at night though

got this green tea snack on the way back to our hotel :)

hong kong day 3

today we had a delicious breakfast at a cafe in kowloon called L'ATELIER de Joël Robuchon

tried so many cakes heheheh

after breakfast we didn't feel like doing anything because we were tired so we just went back to the hotel to nap until dinner LOL

hong kong day 2

we went to tsim sha tsui today and holy shit it's such a boring place there's nothing to do except go designer shopping.. I got a bit annoyed while we were there because:

• some people in hong kong are so fucking arrogant and snobby like calm the fuck down who do you think you are
• a few people go shopping with fucking suitcases for all the designer things they want to buy wtf
• if you're just looking around the shopping centres the sales people aren't nice at all

other than that it's an okay place, just not somewhere to go if you don't want to spend all your holiday money in one day LOL.. I only bought some shoes there and earrings there omg I was so close to buying a burberry coat but then I came to my senses and resisted

we went back to mongkok afterwards and found this shopping centre filled with sooooo many little stores with a lot of cute things LOL it's literally paradise for a fobby person. I bought these coloured contacts because I wanted to see what I'd look like with lighter eyes but they made my eyes fucking darker ughghguhfj such regret they were so overpriced too.. we didn't have anything to do until dinner time so we explored the area and omg they have a massive street filled only with sport shoes stores??? there's probably about 100 nike and adidas and converse and even crocs stores..

hong kong day 1

(it's really day 2 but all we did on the first day was check in and sleep LOL) today we woke up pretty early and had yum cha for breakfast near our hotel. their yum cha is so different to ours, they have no people walking around with food trolley things so it's just like a normal restaurant.. anyway after breakfast we walked around hong kong island and went shopping omg there are so many shopping centres there's literally nothing else to do here except shop and look around

hongkong at night! I think this was at mongkok in kowloon, I haven't really explored kowloon yet because our hotel right now is in hong kong island but I'm going there again tomorrow and maybe also to this peak place where we can see the entire city

phuket day 4

all we did today was eat and eat and eat and eat I can feel so much fat coming back..... we didn't have any tours organised so we just spent most of the day in the main city part of phuket. omg we also went parasailing at patong beach which was so much fun I want to go again! patrick was so scared HAHA at first he looked like he was going to cry and he didn't want to go but after it was his turn he was so happy he did it heheh

we ate lunch at the same place as yesterday because it's really cheap and tastes good too. the food this time cost like $14 (not including drinks because we ordered a million watermelon shakes)

phuket day 3

today we woke up early again to go on another tour except this time to go to james bond island and some caves around the area. there were so many people at james bond island but I didn't really understand why because I never watched the movie that had this island in it..

some famous rock idk man all I see is disgusting coloured water

after the first island we went to these caves which were so fucking small and dark I was freaking out a bit because I don't like dark enclosed places at all. once we got back to the boat it was lunch time and we had to eat on the boat omg seriously who has a buffet on a moving boat in the waves?? everyone was struggling to not spill everything or fall onto other people LOL it was a tough lunch 

our driver/paddling guy taking us into the cave (my eyebrows look so disgusting the lady who waxed it last took the whole eyebrow off)

ok this might not look that small in the photo but it was omg the boat could barely even fit through this hole we had to lie down so we'd be able to pass through 

such a nice place in the middle of the island, I've never seen anything like it 

we were literally underneath the island it was so cool

we went to another cave as well that was full of bats and I was too scared to even move in case the bats woke up and flew everywhere

got back to the hotel and saw that there was a bar in the pool LOL interesting 

going out to eat at patong beach! we ended up eating at this restaurant called sweet restaurant, the food was pretty good and really cheap too! I think we paid like $17 for 3 dishes and two watermelon shakes mmm

ended up in this club with lots of pole dancers LOL we just ordered one drink because they were pressuring us then we left and went back to the hotel.. tomorrow I think we're going to just hang around the city and go shopping or go to the beach because we don't have any tours planned. I want to go elephant riding or something omg but I think maybe it's too expensive :(

bangkok day 4/phuket days 1 and 2

day 1 - today all we did was eat a lot of fast food and go to the airport. there were these cute toys at the mcdonalds at the airport so we ate even more fast food to buy them LOL

day 2 - today we woke up soooo early to go on a speed boat to a few islands in phuket. omg before we left I put on sunscreen twice so I wouldn't tan but it didn't work as well as I wanted because I still tanned a bit

first stop was khai island! we swam in the water and went snorkelling with the fish LOL there were a lot of fish in the water and if you feed them bread they'll crowd around you!

everything was overpriced, this ice cream was $6 aud?? I swear they have the same icecream in strathfield for $1

last stop was this famous beach on phi phi island and holy shit it was perfect. the sand was really soft, the water was the perfect temperature, and you could still see everything perfectly underwater because it was so clear.. too bad we only stayed for 40 minutes I liked that beach I think it was called maya beach

the water was actually that colour?? this kind of beach was so new to me LOL

got back to the hotel and the sun was setting wowow

when we got back to our room we saw this waiting for us on the bed

on the little bouquet of flowers there was a message that said 'enjoy your honeymoon' omg

anyways we were getting pretty hungry so we went to patong beach to eat dinner. there were so many restaurants/bars/clubs/prostitutes there, it's much more busy and exciting than sydney's nightlife.. we ended up eating at a restaurant full of tourists and then after that we went into a club for the lols and it was pretty much empty omg I think we were too early or it was just a really bad club
