I fainted today???
So I was at the doctors getting vaccinated for 5 things in 2 separate injections at the same time (like a motherfuckin b0ss) and straight after my injections my body was like n o p e g o o d b y e and I literally just lost all consciousness for a bit
It was so scary and fucked up holy shit I think the best way to describe it is if you closed your eyes to get ready for sleep and instead of taking like 10 minutes to start dreaming it's instant!! It felt I was out for a really long time, like soooo many thoughts and images went through my head like a super intense dream before I regained consciousness. But the weird thing was that when I asked the nurse she said it was only for a few seconds?!?!?! I just started crying when I woke up because the whole experience was too much for me and she even offered me some chocolate to make me feel better senk u kind lady
Anyway omg I have 3 more injections to go in the next six months and tbh I'm freaking out a little now HAHA I've never been scared of needles or anything, I think my body just went into shock because of how much I was taking in all at once?! Never doing that again p l s

city2surf
I did the city2surf this morning for the first time ever! I did not know what to expect at all and didn't train either, so I ended up walking the majority of the way.. Felt kinda bad for Mai because she's done the city2surf like 11 times and I feel like this was probably one of her her slowest times HAHA. It was pretty long and tiring but worth it in the end because there was a lot of food waiting at the finish line eheheh
I feel pretty proud of myself (even though I walked w/e) for finishing it and even though it was tiring and I had to wake up early I think I'm gonna do it again next year ^-^

last minute melbourne holiday
So it was like midnight on Thursday and I was sitting at bay vista with Gina when she suddenly said 'I miss Melbourne' ... literally 2 hours later we had all our luggage packed and we were already on our way to Melbourne by car heh heh
It took about 17 hours to get there because we were dead tired and had to nap, but also because this happened plsssssssss
Anyway! When we arrived in Melbourne we went straight to dinner because all we had to eat earlier that day were maccas burgers and toasted sandwiches.. We went to Jinda thai because I saw these delishus cakes on instagram delishus
After a very eventful first night in Melbourne we rested up and went to Top Paddock for some brunch. I got their famous hot cakes and w o w pls even though it was huge and the people next to us couldn't even eat half of theirs (little bitches) we still finished it because it was that good

Turned out our car was unregistered and we could only drive any further 'for registration purposes'. So we drove to this really small town in the middle of nowhere called Gundagai to get a pink slip before driving the rest of the way. Little did we know we'd get pulled over again on the way back and fined some more because the pink slip wasn't enough (the first cop lied to us) and our car was still unregistered o m g

They did not disappoint holy shit definitely going back
I had the worst headache after dinner so I waited in the car while Gina bought some neurofen for me. She has asthma and going to woolworths triggered a mini asthma attack and long story short we ended up driving to hospital for some ventolin because she forgot her puffer.. I was so scared for her I literally drove 100km an hour to get her to the hospital asap senk d lord we didn't get pulled over for that

All we pretty much did that day was shop around in the city and eat but it still made us super tired. We were pretty dead by night time but we still went out to Crown for long islands mmm
My friend was working and he made that giant long island for us hehe thank youuuuuu!
The next day we didn't have plans so we joined my friend for a barbecue at his friend's apartment in the city. The view and food were amazing, it was nice of them to invite us to enjoy it ^-^
Would never leave Melbourne if I lived here
At night we decided to go to Crown again then clubbing since it was our last night there! It was such an unexpected but good night heheheheh senk u
I wore a cardigan and ugg boots to the casino because I was cold and then there was Gina who looked so good and much more appropriate HAHA whatever yolo (I changed shoes for clubbing though donut worry)
OMG THIS GUY HAHAHAHA I TOOK HIS PHONE AND CHANGED HIS WALLPAPER AND I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW HIM HHAAHAH I posted that photo on his facebook too heheheh
SEEEENK UUUUUU ^-^ ^-^
I really like this photo!
The next day my friend took me to this burger place near my hotel hands down I don't think I've ever enjoyed a beef burger that much it was so yummy!!! Or maybe it was just my hunger talking but still it was really good
After lunch it was time to drive back :(((((((( we were both sad to be leaving and wanted to stay another night but we couldn't because of uni :( WE SHOULD'VE STAYED THOUGH BECAUSE FUCK we ended up getting pulled over and having our number plates taken off our car because of the no rego problem... p l s
p l s s s s s s s s s s s
(The thing behind the car is our motel room fuck the police wouldn't let us go home so we had to stay the night in Gundagai again)
Anyway other than that it was a great holiday and I can't wait to go back!

shadows of wonderland
I went to shadows of wonderland last night! Everyone keeps saying 'oh I thought you didn't go to raves' and 'since when do you like that kind of music' but omg pls it was my first time at an event like that and I actually had a lot of fun! Originally we didn't even plan on going but I'm glad we did haha it was such a last minute decision like we literally bought our tickets the day before..

celebration week!
This semester is finally over and to celebrate I basically spent the entire week eating heheh (what's new). Literally as soon as my last exam ended I went straight to Devon cafe for dessert, sooo worth enduring 3 hours of stomach rumbling in the exam room for!!
That same day I also went to eat Korean barbecue in Strathfield which was really good as well! We didn't end up actually getting any barbecue though because none of us could be bothered cooking the meat .....
We didn't stop there though omg afterwards we drove all the way to Bay Vista for this dessert HAHA obese life
A few days later I met up with Gina and went to have lunch at Kin by us - Really cute cafe and the food was so well presented and delicious! I got the 'black lotus' which I think was black sticky rice, coconut milk, fig, and other shit sprinkled on top (10/10 description)
Afterwards we went to Vogue cafe at Macquarie centre and got their nutella and peanut butter milkshakes.. Don't recommend these at all, they were soooo sweet and literally just tasted like liquid diabetes. If that's your thing though by all means go for it!
FOR DINNER WE HAD SOKYO YAASSSSSSSSS LONG TIME NO SOKYO 11/10 food as usual
To top it all off we decided to stop by Knafeh Bakery on the way home for more dessert. I don't know how to describe what the knafeh tasted like, it was kind of like a cheesy creme brulee?
On Friday oh my goodness worst night. We met up with some other friends to have ice cream then go to OPM. Okay not only is OPM a shit club with a shit crowd, but our 'friends' who we paid their entry for ended up ditching us?! Like I didn't mind paying for their entry because they've paid for us before, but who the fuck does that. It's really fucking rude imo, if someone paid for me I would feel horrible saying the shit they said, like 'ceebs OPM we're gonna go somewhere else now' or 'we're gonna find our other friends' ugh please!! We didn't even want to go out on Friday night, but we went because we went anyway because they weren't bothered to go to the city on Saturday instead. UGHHHHH PLSSSS they made us feel so unwanted "close friends" my ass! There were more hurtful things they did that ruined my night but I don't really want to blog about it incase they read this.. Anyway whatever at least we got a good photo

study tips
I don't think I'm the best person to ask considering I'm not even certain I passed all my subjects this semester. Even though I did achieve pretty good results for a few of my assignments/exams, I did everything last minute and often became overwhelmed and stressed out because of the amount I had to learn in such a short time. I am a fast learner and I'm very thankful for that but I think I could do so much better in the future if I allocated my time more efficiently and followed these tips!
- First tip - go to class!! Okay this one is a given but I do need to mention it because some people at my uni don't understand that there is a correlation between going to class and doing well
- Not only just go to class, but turn up prepared! I don't really follow this tip but I think it would be super beneficial to my studies if I did. Like this one week at uni I went to two of the same tutorial, and in the second one I really focused in class because I kind of knew what was going on and I could contribute more?? I'm not saying go to multiple tutorials because that would be a waste of time (unless that works for you then by all means go for it), but if you attempt the tutorial questions before class or look at lecture slides before the lecture you can get so much more out of it. I did it for Accounting A and I ended up being only one mark off getting a perfect score on my transcript nooooo
- Ask questions if you need to! Don't be scared to ask your tutors or lecturers if you're having trouble. They're there to help you and they get paid to do it so may as well ask instead of forever not properly understanding what you're doing
- As for studying, my first tip would be to figure out how you learn, know your strengths and weaknesses, and try to work around that. Everybody studies differently so what works for me might not work for you. Personally I'm a fast learner (thank goodness or I wouldn't have been able to handle 28cp in one semester) and I think I learn best by doing. Just listening to lectures and reading through textbooks doesn't really help me I just get really bored and zone out after a while. I could do all the reading in the world on how to construct a cash flow statement, but if I don't go through some examples myself I probably won't be able to do it in an exam (yes this happened in my final exam, I lost 20% just like that).
- Find a time and place place where you're able to study most efficiently. Some people can't study at home, and others can't study unless they're at home. There are actual tips somewhere online on where to study but personally for me as long as I'm away from too much noise and a messy environment I'm good. Also I can't study well with other people I need to be alone HAHA every single time I try to study with someone else I get less than half the work done than if I was by myself
- You need to have a clear mind + motivation when you study or else you're going to get really distracted and not learn much. If you're really stressed out or just not feeling up to it, take a break, have some food, have a shower, take a walk, go to the gym, whatever works for you. Some people think this is a waste of time but I don't see much point in studying when I'm not mentally in the right state.
- Plan out what you're going to do in one day, and be realistic. Before my exams I listed out my topics and set goals for each day. It makes it much easier when you know what your goals are, and gives you some feeling of accomplishment when you achieve them. Even if you don't have exams coming up, plan a time to do your homework/revise what you learnt in that day.
- Try to study as often as you can. If you have time to study everyday then do it! The more time you spend learning something earlier on, the easier it'll be for you later on when you have exams
- Last tip but most importantly, don't procrastinate!!!!!!!!!!!! One of my friends left his 30000 word capstone until the last few days before it was due and he had I think a year to do it? Such a bad idea... You don't even have to start your assignments that early, like the least you can do is just have a look at it so you know what to expect when you do start it
It's 2am and I'm getting really sleepy so I think that's it for now. This is all so much easier said than done but if you consciously try to take steps towards studying more and getting shit done earlier then you'll definitely do well in uni. I really hope this helped, like I said I'm not the best person to ask so I don't even know if anything I've said is useful. It's all just based on my experiences at uni and what I think is helpful! Good luck with studying :)

feeling on top of the world
Hello!
It's been a very very very very long time I know, but I'm feeling really good today and I just wanted to share a few things with you guys (if there is anybody left)!
Okay first off - I got a job! Well I don't have the job yet because I need to do my training first, but I'm 99% sure I will have secured my employment as a flight attendant once I complete training. The whole process has been so exciting and scary at the same time, and once everything's complete I'll probably make a more detailed blog post about it. I feel so much closer to my dream now and it's making me so happy you don't even know, ahhh can't wait to start training eheheh
Next - I've finished uni the semester!!! I had a pretty tough time with some of my subjects and I'm not sure if I did enough to pass, but it's all over now so I can finally relax. One thing that really made me feel super proud of myself was that I got an email from my lecturer congratulating me on my assignment mark because I was one of 13 people in the whole course who got an HD?! Such a satisfying feeling knowing that after how low I was feeling during mid sems I managed to pull myself together for the assignment.
Finally - I've really picked myself back up since my last post - cut the toxic people out from my life, learnt a few lessons, become closer to awesome people, and I think I've become more mature too haha.. I'm going to start blogging again so if there's anything you guys want me to blog about, anything you want to know, food recommendations heh, or if you just want to talk then hit me up on ask.fm!
Hope everyone is well and I'll write again soon :-)
