productive day

ok not really productive compared to a lot of other people studying for hsc, but I did more things than I would have done if I just stayed home . . . . ..

in the morning I got tomntoms with patrick so which was delicious at the time but now I feel really sad because I keep thinking about how much fatter I've gotten since year 12 started. I know it's normal to get fat during hsc but there's so many reasons not to, like so you can have a good body when you go on holidays and stereosonic o m g I'm gonna be rolling around post hsc HAHA

afterwards I did some study then went to paddy's markets and bought these (matching phone cases are really fucking gay but they matched really well with our phones/backgrounds) it was only $15 for both of them together wtf so cheap $15 for only one case is already cheap

oh I got a new phone heh heh after waiting for ages for a gold iphone I finally got one

anyway later on in the day this happened ¿¿¿¿¿¿¿

it looks hectic but the smoky air was because there was a bush fire somewhere in the blue mountains area. I hope everyone is alright and nobody lost their lives or got severely injured, I hate when people die from accidents omg I know there's nothing I can do about it but it's just happening a lot lately which makes me sad. yesterday someone got hit by a train on my train line and died, earlier this morning a plane crashed in Laos killing about 50 people, and this afternoon a massive fucking bushfire in NSW glkjdsklgjfs

on a brighter note I took this picture today

it looks nice ok obviously I don't have anything to blog about idk why I even wrote this post I just took a lot of pictures today and wanted to post them HAHA

applying for jobs

I was doing well until there was one question right at the end of the application: has your driver's licence ever been cancelled/suspended?
ADLkfaskjdfhkldsjglksfjglksdjgldskg what if this one question means I don't have any chance?! I hope they don't judge from just one question because it's not like getting suspended makes me a criminal right.... what else sucks is that knowing a second language these days gives you a huge advantage when applying for a job. I wish my mum taught me chinese when I was little because now I'm so behind when applying for jobs where you have to deal with a lot of customers who are from overseas oh welllllll

I cut my hair!!!

I'm not lying this time except it wasn't my own hair, I cut my old extensions I used to wear like every single day..... I can't believe how much effort I used to put into my hair omg I washed it every single morning, straightened it, then put in extensions HAHA now I just tie it up nearly all the time because ceebs

sorry about always pretending I cut my hair it's just that I'm too scared to actually cut my hair short because I have had pretty bad experiences in the past with my hair.. like the last time I cut my hair really short myself georgia said I looked like a bowling ball which I HAVE STILL NOT FORGOTTEN 5 YEARS LATER LOL

very confused

I don't know what to do for uni or if I even want to go to uni at all.. it's shit because at my school I feel like I have literally 3 choices for what I should do:
  • medicine
  • law
  • commerce
It's so ridiculous! most people at school have the same mindset that they have to get the highest atar possible so that they can get into a course like this because they feel like it's the right thing to do. this is such a stupid way to think (this is just my opinion ok if you really want to do med or something then good for you best of luck) I mean who cares if the course you want to do is much lower than the atar you get because at least it's what you want to do. it's not a waste of your points, what's a waste is doing something you have no interest in for five years. I used to think it's fine if you do something you don't really enjoy as long as you're rich LOL but now I realise you only get one life like seriously yolo is legit omg life is so precious fuck I sound so retarded BUT YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN like when I'm dying I want to think back on my life and know I was successful and happy. I don't want to reach the end of my existence only to realise all I did was make a lot of money, because success isn't defined by how rich you are or how much better than anyone else you think you are. omg I can't believe some of the people who go to school with me LOL people laugh at TAFE and apprenticeships and omg even universities that aren't UNSW or USYD aren't even an option to most people. going to a more ''''prestigious''' uni does not make you better than anyone else at all, seriously get over yourselves!

omg aLSO PEOPLE WHO ACT LIKE HSC IS THE END OF THE WORLD STOP I HAVE BEEN WANTING TO BLOG ABOUT THIS FOR SO LONG BUT I ALWAYS FORGET!! ALRIGHT I'm so sick of people who are stressing way too much over the hsc because they think their entire life is determined by a few high school exams. you have your WHOLE life to do what you want to do, it seriously doesn't matter if it takes you longer than others! if you really want it and you have the motivation to keep going then there should be nothing stopping you. this is the same with gap years, most people refuse to take a year off because they'll be a year behind everyone else in their grade omg no one gives a shit!

oily skin

okay for some reason this has been my most highly requested topic to blog about so I probably shouldn't leave it any longer or else some of you might go crazy like this person lol..

alright first question!

well okay for starters my skin isn't that oily - I have combination skin (I think) so my oil is mainly just around my nose and sometimes my forehead. I have some tips on how to stop oily skin but I'm not an expert at this ok so it might not work for you

  1. cleanse your face everyday
not washing your face daily can make your skin very oily and disgusting. during the day there's a lot of build up of oil and dirt that has to be cleaned off or the oil will just get worse and worse. there's so many different types of cleansers and some of them are actually made for people with oily skin! I looked it up and apparently cleansers with these ingredients are good for controlling oil: benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, glycolic acid, or beta-hydroxy acid

   2. don't wash your face toooooooooo much
washing your face is good but overdoing it may cause your face to dry out, therefore producing more oil. maximum should be 2 times a day so morning and night is enough

   3. make sure your skin is always moisturised
you might think since your skin is already oily you don't need to moisturise it because it will get more oily but that is definitely not true, especially if you have acne and are using products to stop the acne (those often make your skin very dry). use a moisturiser that is water based and not oil based so there's no extra oil on your skin from the moisturiser

   3. don't touch your face so much
self explanatory LOL your hands are so dirty why would you let that shit on your face man

   4.  use face masks at night
some places have face masks specifically for oily skin and some of them work really well from what I've heard

   5. blotting paper
I don't know if these really work but I always see a lot of people using blotting paper in school. you put it on the oily parts of your face and apparently it's supposed to collect the oil? it looks kinda gross on the paper like you can see it turn from opaque to clear because of all the oil so maybe that' a good sign it's working!

OR YOU CAN WEAR MAKEUP ( I got a question about this too but I can't find it)
ALRIGHT NEXT SECTION

  1. moisturiser first
  2. then primer to help your makeup actually stay on your face properly for longer
  3. bb cream or foundation (try to buy an oil free foundation for better results)
  4. concealer if you need to cover up any blemishes
  5. PowDerRRRRrrRRrRRr very important
  6. powder is seriously an instant life saver when you have oily skin because just a little bit can hide any oil LOL during the day my skin can sometimes start to get shiny so I just ya know cover it up with some powder
I don't really want to go into that much detail with makeup because it's pretty easy to do just slap everything on your face and you done (but not too much or you will look like a delicious cake)
sorry I got lazy near the end but you get what I mean

18th birthday

I got so sos osos ososo many requests to make this post oh my god HAHA so without any more delay

  • I was already in the city the night before my birthday so at like 12:30 in the morning my bf and I went to the star omg it was such a scary experience handing my id to the security guard for the first time I don't even know why it's not like I was doing anything wrong LOL
  • we left after about 10 minutes because I put $5 in the machine and lost everything omg devastated
  • in the morning my family gave me my present (which I love senk u mum and dad) and we had cake, then we all went to have yum cha in cabramatta

getting old man

presents from parents and bf
the cards look retarded but they are both meaningful ok my dad bought the car one because he knows I like cars and bf got me the elephant card bcs the first card he got me in year 9 had an elephant on it too so we always joke about it

  • I had to leave asap because patrick made a lunch reservation at a restaurant called Quay which is famous for the snow egg in masterchef l o l
  • we had lunch which was surprisingly really good even though it was fine dining and I don't really like fine dining
(the phtoos are on bf's phone becaue i bought him iphone 5s since i am a fucking brilliant gf hehe and his camera is way better quality than mine)
  • after lunch I checked into the hotel and omg they probably knew it was my birthday or something because they accidentally gave us the 3 level penthouse instead of the smaller sub penthouse I payed for yay

mirror was on the ceiling wtf

such an amazing view both day and night (you can tell which photo was taken on bf's phone HAHA)

this photo is very significant because my 18th was the first time I had KFC since I was 12. I was fucking retarded in year 7 and said I would never eat KFC again HAHA I literally had no KFC for the whole time I was a teenager

  • anyways overall it was a pretty good night - we didn't get kicked out for making noise, nobody broke anything and only one person couldn't come :-) only shit thing was I thought we were going to get kicked out for having too many people so I didn't really get to relax
  • dewan nancy and jessica made me the cutest card and everyone who came wrote a message on the back which was really nice I felt so touched HAHA

it's filled with gross pictures of me when I was 14 but I love it!!!

nancy tried taking a photo of me and dewan and after like 10 min she finally got a picture but his head is cut off HAHA

  • sorry I don't have any other photos because they're all taken with patrick's phone and it's too much effort syncing all his photos onto my computer
  • plus they're all taken with flash lol I look disgusting
