new hair + updates

It's kind of an ash blonde/brown/grey colour and even though my hair is probably never going to recover from all the bleach, I love it!! I was feeling pretty horrible that day (what's new lol) so I did what any rational person would do and spent $500 on my hair to make myself feel better ..... I guess it was worth it though, very pleased with the results!

Some more updates:

• Work is going well - I've been working for about 6 weeks now and I'm really enjoying it.  It is an intense job though and can get quite overwhelming at times but regardless I'm still very grateful I'm already in the aviation industry, so I try to give it my all everyday. I got asked a while ago to make a more detailed post about the whole process and everything, does anybody still want that posted?
• As for myself personally, things aren't going so well tbh - I'm trying to sort everything out though so hopefully things will get better over time
• Omg I fainted and fell backwards down the stairs the other day holy shit hahaha the ambulance had to come to my house and take me to the hospital.. I'm ok now though, I don't even remember any of it and my body almost fully healed! The next day I was already back at work and I even went clubbing #soldieron

• I'm literally just going to look through my photos now to see what's been happening since the last time I posted because I can't even remember anymore
• A couple of weeks ago my friend invited me to go and watch Matilda the musical - highly recommend seeing it if it's still out because it was gr9

• Ok now looking at my photos is making me realise I've kind of lost the plot with how much I've been going out to eat like wot is even going on anymore I mean these photos are all from the past week or two and I don't think this is even 10% of it

I used to be so on top of my diet what happened LOL at this rate I'll be rolling around in no time.. No ragrets though it was all delishus (maybe a little bit of ragrets)

• Speaking of being a fat shit, my gym membership unfroze this week so I have to get back into that nooooooo
• Nothing else has really been happening in my life, all I do is work and eat basically
• Holiday season is coming up so hopefully I'll get up to something interesting soon, I really need a break from everything!!
• Japan would be nice

Bennelong restaurant

The owner of Quay, Peter Gilmore, just opened his second restaurant in Sydney and I recently had the pleasure of eating lunch there! Even just writing about it now is making me wish I could go back in time and eat everything all over again ESPECIALLY DESSERT OMfg because it was such a good experience mmmmm

defqon 2015

I went to my first defqon 1 music festival last week! Despite the horrible weather it was actually so much fun and I can't wait to go again next year ^-^

First stop was Paper Plane Cafe in Parramatta. Such a cute little cafe with delicious food and pretty generous servings for their prices. I got the french toast which was sooo filling and not too sweet which was good!

Omg was taking snaps on the train and caught the guy behind me yawning HAHAHA

I got carried on someone's shoulders for the first time HAHA IT WAS SO COOL I COULD SEE EVERYTHING 

The second photo's supposed to be all of us showing our tattoos because two of my friends got new ones since I last saw them but instead it just looks like me being a loser punching the guy next to me in the face pls

You guys have to try sokyo's ramen pop up at the star it is amazing!!! I went there the next day and was not disappointed holy shit like usually I can't finish a whole bowl of ramen but this was an exception LOL

We had to stop by n2 as well and try the bounty flavour mmmm obssessed with coconut

Oh my god ok after n2 we found these phone cases and what the actual fuck HAHAHA I was so tempted to buy one for my new phone but I held back.. Having second thoughts now though yolo next time I get n2 I know what else I'm getting

London + I'm back!

I didn't really take any photos in London but I'll still post this because I feel kind of uneasy since I've posted about every other place I went to.. I've been back for just over a week now but I've been soooooooo busy with training. Ground school's very intense, I need wake up at about 5 - 6 am everyday so I won't be late for my 8 am start, and I'll usually have class until around 5 pm. It's going well though! The people are great, everyone's so nice like I've been pretty sick lately and idk everyone's been really caring and supportive. 

Anyway this is the only photo I took in London (my eyes are closed again so tragic)

And these are the last photos I took with my family before we left for Sydney. I miss them! Maybe not so much the body contact though idk they kiss you on the cheek so much and I don't like it when people do that to me LOL

Paris

Basically all I did in Paris was eat pastries

Legit no matter what time of the day it was, if there was a patisserie near me I would buy something LOL. I think I went to Ladurée three times in the three days I was there ... Oh we also went to look at some of the tourist places too but pastries >

The Louvre! We didn't even go inside or anything though, my mum's only interested in taking photos of herself 

After this photo she started getting really pissed at me because apparently I wasn't taking good photos of her p l s... So we literally spent the next hour not talking and at one point she abandoned me for a few minutes and I got really sad because I only had one euro and I didn't know how I was going to get home HAHA

Anyway I'm in London right now and it's so cold wtf I didn't bring anything warm enough so I'm just sitting in the hotel blogging while I wait for dinner time .. Saw so much today though like all the main touristy buildings but my phone was out of battery and I couldn't take any photos! I'm in love with this place already omg the accent, the food, the weather (even though I was unprepared), and the fact that I live right next door to this place called Japan Centre which is filled with so much delicious food..  I legit almost cried when I walked in because I was so happy I could finally eat Asian food again HAHA

Okay time to go out and eat dinner. Will blog about London soon! ^-^

Italy

Note to self for my next holiday: do not catch a bus from Macedonia to Italy

Ever again

Even if there are no flights

You will spend over 24 miserable hours on the bus

With a bunch of annoying kids

And an old woman who smells like piss

Because of the never ending bus ride we didn't get to spend much time in our first stop, Venice, but it was alright for the idk 12 or so hours we were there! Actually no at first tbh it was horrible!!! Mum was angry, I was angry, and I didn't even want to be there or post about it anymore. It was kind of like what happened with Japan, so many of you were asking me why I never posted about it and tbh it was because I broke up with my boyfriend when we got back and thought it'd be weird and depressing posting about it.. Like what would I even call him in the posts, would I just pretend nothing happened or say idk "my ex boyfriend and I went to Tokyo Disneyland together!!1!" p l s

Omg don't get me wrong though Japan was still amazing and I cannot wait to go back my heart belongs there *u*

Anyway in the morning we were leaving Venice so I decided to try and be happy for Milan and it ended up being very successful day!

First pasta in Italy - spaghetti with red lobster. This was amazing omg I had high expectations because it's Italian food in Italy but I didn't think it'd be this good

Macedonia

Bitola

Our first stop once we arrived in Macedonia was Bitola - the town my dad grew up in. He's hyped this place up so much since I was little and once we arrived I finally understood why, the place is soooo beautiful! It's a really simple place, like they don't have any major stores or high rise buildings. I think all people do there is meet up and eat because there's like one main street and it's just full of food.. (not complaining)

The first night we just spent meeting all my family on my dad's side for the first time. It was pretty weird for me because they all knew who I was but I was just there like ¿¿¿¿ because I didn't know anyone and only a couple of people could speak English. They were all so nice though, like they pretty much prepared every single type of Macedonian food in existence and I may or may not have had 4 slices of Macedonian cake yolo

The next day we still had a couple of more relatives to meet - my grandparents and my dad's oldest brother. They've all passed away but I had never met them before and it was nice finally getting to see them in front of me

The bottom name says 'Anastasia Ivanovska', I have my grandmother's name! (Yes Tasa is short for Anastasia)

This is my dad's younger brother, we totally look so alike right?

Ohrid

The next day my dad's friend drove us an hour away from Bitola to another town called Ohrid. Holy shit if any of you ever decide to visit Macedonia you must stop by here! It's so peaceful and very instagram-worthy

Wedding day!

The day before we left was my dad's brother's son's wedding! This was pretty much main reason in coming to Macedonia. I had never been to a wedding before (well I went to a wedding ceremony once but that doesn't count because I didn't even know the bride or groom at all I was just kind of tagging along with my sister) so I had no idea what to expect and w o w it was a tiring day. We woke up at around 7 to get ready, had breakfast, went to the groom's house, had a feast, drove one hour to pick up the bride from her town which is apparently tradition in Macedonia, had a feast at her house, drove an hour back, went to watch them officially marry, went to the ceremony, got ready for the reception, had another feast, sat through hours of Macedonian dancing, then finally went back to the hotel to sleep. I don't think all weddings are like this but oh my goodness what a day
