Great weekend :)

I had a pretty amazing time this weekend so I wanted to share it even though I'm exhausted from all the work/uni I've had these past couple of days. Tonight was literally the only free time I could find to lie down in bed and write up a new blog post ..

Okay so on Friday I went to the city to work for a while, then met up with my bf so we could go out and eat at Sokyo ^-^ omg man I love Sokyo, I've been there so many times and not once have I been disappointed!!! We didn't try anything new so most of the pictures look the same as every other time I go, but I promise next time there will be different things hahaha

This was the only new thing we tried and in my opinion it was okay, just I'm not really used to the flavour of truffle so it was kind of a strange dessert to me..

After a very delectable and filling dinner, Patrick 'surprised' me and took me to go see the Lion King musical!! I knew his plan all along because he kind of gave it away the month before, but it was still so nice of him and I really enjoyed it!

We weren't allowed to take any pictures once the musical started so this was all I could get.. If tickets are still available I highly recommend going to see the Lion King because it was entertaining and funny too, a great way to spend our 23 months haha

Anyway the next day I went with my bf to eat at this Thai restaurant all the way in Strathfield purely because they sell this:

I looove pandan flavoured things and this is no exception omg must try! After lunch my bf was all like 'I got a cool place to take you after this' and uhhhhh ........

..........

He took me to Woronora Dam .... I mean it's a pretty cool place but it was so fucking eerie and creepy because nobody was even there and it was raining LOL

My friends were having a BBQ and karaoke thing that night so once we left the dam we headed back home to get ready then back out again to the city! I hadn't seen anybody in a long time because I'm always busy with uni and work, so it was nice catching up with everyone

And that was my weekend! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend :)

Ps today I went to papparich after uni and it was goooood (+ cheap too), a must try if you go to my uni or usyd it's close to both unis!

Sorrysorrysorrysorrysorrysorrysorrrry hahaha I've neglected my blog ever since uni started.... I've been so busy with uni and work that I actually have had no time at all to post anything! (I'm actually supposed to be working right now but I thought maybe I should finally update the few people who still bother to check up on this blog) From now on I'll try to blog more frequently now or I don't know maybe I should just stop blogging all together because I don't have much time or much to say at all.. Hmmmmm anyway I said on ask.fm I'd blog about my shopping from last week?? Everyone's probably heard about this already but at uni last week there were literally three bomb threats in I think seven days HAHA I wasn't there for two of them but for one of them I was! The whole building was evacuated for two hours so I thought what better to do than go shopping right heh heh

Earlier on in the day I went shopping with a girl from my high school and we bought some new balances LOL I think they are so fucking cute!!!!!

I got them in size 6, they make your feet look so small and cute ^-^ I think I wore them like 3 times this week omg pretty obsessed with this purchase.. Anyways so the alarms went off, everyone got evacuated and instead of moving to another building I just went to qvb to shop some more.. 

I bought some new blue jeans! I don't have a pair in this colour yet and I thought they looked pretty nice with my shoes

I always give in to those 'spend this much and we'll give you a gift' promotions so when I went to the face shop today to buy a new cleanser I came out with all this shit I don't need HAHA

Also bought a UTS hoodie to complete my new outfit .. . . ... That's all the shopping I did ahhhhh okay I'm not going to spend any more money on clothes/shoes for a while, I need to save up

Omg by the way the other day I went to one of my favourite places in Sydney and took some pretty cool photos heheehehheh I love planes

This guy who was walking on the beach was like 'oh you can actually go closer if you keep walking down' so we did and omg we got so close to the planes taking off and landing

I also got this cool app where you can see all the planes in the whole world ok this post is only going to get worse from here I'm going to stop HAHA. I hope everyone is doing well and I'll write again soon ^-^

Happy birthday mum and dad! (and sushi hotaru)

Today was my mum and dad's birthday (yes they have the same birthday!!) and not only that, it was sushi hotaru's first birthday too!! It was also my first day back at uni but that wasn't too exciting, I only had class for one and a half hours so afterwards while I was waiting to go eat I just worked at uni for a while..

After uni I met up with Patrick and of course I went to sushi hotaru since they had a birthday special, every plate was $2! It was so packed oh my god every other time we go there it's almost empty but today we had to line up for a seat..

Parents birthday dinner was allllll the way in Cabramatta so after eating sushi we went hunting for a cake then headed to dinner. We ate at some Chinese restaurant upstairs on John street and it was pretty empty but the food still came out so slowly!?? By the end of the first dish I don't think anybody was even that hungry anymore hahaha

Make a wish heheheh I hope they liked the cake.. We wanted to get them the strawberry watermelon cake from Black star pastry but they were all sold out :( so instead we got the red velvet cake from Adriano Zumbo. It was pretty nice but so rich no one could even finish it!!!

Not relevant to this post but omg how amazing did the sky look the other day?! I was driving home and the sky looked so huge and beautiful I had to stop and take a photo haha

22 months

Last Tuesday was my 22 months with my boyfriend wowoow I can't believe how long it's been already.. only 2 more months and it will be 2 years! I barely took any photos that day so this is going to be really short but I still wanted to make a post about it anyway

Ippudo for lunch! Hahaha omg I feel like my blog is starting to become filled with the same restaurants over and over again..

After lunch we walked around the city and then went to see Dawn of the Planet of the Apes in gold class ^-^ Once again we decided to watch a movie that had a prequel we didn't know anything about lolololol it was still an alright movie though, pretty intense

what's been happening in my life

• I made macarons for the first time from scratch! They were rose flavoured so they kind of tasted like the strawberry and watermelon cake which was gooood ^-^ The night before I made them I stayed up watching a million youtube videos on how to make them so I felt pretty inspired.. They turned out really nice except most of them cracked on the top, I don't know what happened, anyone have advice on how to stop that from happening?

• On that same day I also made bruschetta caprese because I love the one they sell at criniti's but I didn't want to go there just for one dish ya know.. It tasted exactly the same except I reckon mine was better because it was cheaper plus we had more than just 2 of them heheheh

If anybody wants the recipe I'll post that up too!

• On Saturday I went to a BBQ to celebrate a friend's birthday! LOL we had so much fooood heheh it was great

• On Sunday I went to this hidden beach inside Sydney Royal National Park. It was so beautiful there, too bad it was really cold so we couldn't swim or lie on the sand or anything.. The weather was still good though so we had a picnic and sat on the rocks in front of the beach for a while

The beach was amazing, I wanna go back here one day and swim in the water *u* actually maybe not I don't really like swimming that much

I LOVE THESE SO MUCH they're such a rip off but I think it's worth it because the tomatoes are all different colours and types

  

After the beach we went down to seacliff bridge for literally one minute.... It was way too cold to walk on the bridge so we just took a photo and left haha

• My results came out on Monday and I was pretty happy so I went out with my family for lunch to kind of celebrate idk passing everything? We went to green peppercorn and of course I got thai beef salad heheheh

• On Tuesday Patrick took me out to the city to have peking duck and matcha ice cream because he made me pretty upset on the weekend wanted to make up for it haha

The icecream was preeeetttty good! It wasn't as interesting as the pandan creme brulee flavour but still worth trying 

• Today I woke up to an email from my accounting tutor congratulating me on my results and offering me a job at uni out of nowhere!!!! I'm so happy hheheheeh totally did not expect this to happen at all. I guess hard work really does pay off in the end haha literally
• Alsooo I got my nails done today ^-^

my week

I'm going to struggle so much making this post because I slipped over in my kitchen today and landed on my elbow.. One of my arms is currently out of action but I already said I'd blog tonight so can't take back my words haha anyway this week wasn't as exciting as last week but I'll still try and write about it

Tuesday

On Tuesday my life ended pretty much HAHA I downloaded the Sims 3 again and it's taken over my life omg when Patrick came over today we played sims alllll day and I completely forgot to have breakfast... Guess where I ate today though ehheheheheh sushi hotaru again! We ordered more than usual because it was my breakfast and lunch at the same time heh heh

Wednesday and Thursday

I don't think I even left my house on Wednesday and Thursday...... if I did I don't even remember what I did all I remember is my fucking sim getting caught on fire holy shit it was so scary I thought he was going to die

Friday

I went out on Friday night for some korean barbecue and karaoke ^-^ it was pretty fun except I drove so I didn't get to drink at alllllll omg this always happens to me

After karaoke I was going to drive Gina and Lisa home but we decided to go to Brighton le Sands instead for some Bay Vista heheheh there should be more cafes open after midnight!

 I got this mousse thing and omg it looks delicious but it was wayyyy too much chocolate tbh..

We went to the beach across the road after, the view was beautiful haha not very well captured in this photo..

Saturday

On Saturday Patrick came over and we went out to eat at a Malaysian restaurant in Parramatta! I really like the chicken there I think it's called hainanese chicken (??) it's so simple but really delicious when you dip it in the sauce mmmm

Patrick got laksa and I didn't want to eat it because it had dried shrimps in it HAHA I don't know why but I can't stand dried shrimps.... They don't even taste bad they just look so disgusting and small, makes me lose my appetite as soon as I discover them in my food idk why

Afterwards Patrick and I went to Burwood to watch 22 Jump St (we didn't watch 21 Jump St so we had no idea what was going on at first LOL) and omg it was really funny you guys should all watch! Apparently the first one is better but whatever this one was still pretty good in my opinion. Omg earlier when my bf was parking this happened wowow it was so close thank goodness we didn't scratch his car

Someone told me "it's only close when it's touching HAHA so I guess you can call this very good parking??

Aaaaanyway I was craving Japanese curry so we bought all the ingredients for it and made it at home. I think it turned out pretty good except next time I want to add pork katsu or something to make it even more delicious mm

We also bought these bakeable kit kats while we were shopping for ingredients and so far I'm pretty disappointed with the results HAHA that's my fault though because I didn't realise you need one of those small grill ovens. All I have is a microwave and a big oven so it didn't turn out that well.. I tried to pan fry one and burnt my tongue trying to eat it omg why is life so hard :(((

I didn't do anything on Sunday except go to the gym and destroy my arm so that's all for this week hope everyone is going well :-)
